Russian Imperial Silver 84 Napkin Ring
Crafted between 1908 and 1917 by silversmith Ivan Butuzov in Kostroma, as indicated by his maker’s mark in the Cyrillic alphabet. It bears the 84 silver standard hallmark along with the Kokoshnik mark, denoting its authenticity and adherence to the silver purity standard used in Russia after 1908. The napkin ring features engraved designs, including two flowers on a stem on one side and inscribed writing on the other, adding a personalized and decorative touch. This piece reflects the artistry and craftsmanship of Russian silversmiths during the late Imperial period.
