A striking, large-scale Chinese porcelain ginger jar in the style of the Qing Dynasty’s Kangxi period, bearing an apocryphal Kangxi six-character mark to the base. Dating to the 1980s, this piece was crafted in the tradition of civilian kilns, with exquisite hand-painted decoration and a high-gloss glaze.
This monumental jar makes an impressive statement, ideal for decorators, stylists or collectors of chinoiserie-inspired interiors.
A superb example of late 20th-century Chinese export porcelain, combining traditional elegance with bold scale.
